L’ANIA est présidée depuis 2013 par Jean-Philippe GIRARD, Président de l’entreprise Eurogerm. Un Conseil d’Administration, composé de 47 dirigeants du monde de l’industrie alimentaire et de groupes agroalimentaires, a pour objectif de fixer les orientations stratégiques de l’ANIA.

The Marine Biological Association (MBA) is one of the world’s longest-running societies dedicated to promoting research into our oceans and the life they support. Since 1884 we have been providing a unified, clear, independent voice on behalf of the marine biological community and currently have a growing membership in over 40 countries. We also run a leading marine biological research laboratory where many eminent scientists - including 7 Nobel prize winners - have carried out their research.

SAMS is governed by an independent non-executive Governing Council, led by the Chair, supported by a number of sub-committees. Our commercial subsidiary company SAMS Research Services Limited is governed by its own Board. Governing Council members are the non-executive directors of the company and trustees of the charity.

Ultimate legal responsibility for SAMS' operations rests with the Governing Council. The Governing Council appoints the Director and delegates the running of SAMS to the Director and the executive team.
