The company Telenatura is a technology based company (TBE) between universities. The founding members are professors at the University Miguel Hernández of Elche UMH and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), part of the technology and methodologies employed in the services we offer are based on research projects, conducted by researchers from the Engineering Agroforestry Area, Department of Engineering at the UMH, and Department of Food Engineering and Agricultural Equipment, University of Cartagena UPCT.

The Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (ILVO) is an independent research institution financed by the Government of Flanders. Its mission is to perform and coordinate policy-supportive scientific research and related services with an eye toward economically, ecologically and socially sustainable agriculture and fisheries. This mission has been translated into an organization-wide initative, “ILVO2020”.

In terms of both teaching and research, this faculty contributes significantly to the development and evaluation of sustainable production techniques in agricultural and nutrition sciences, as well as to the preservation of rural areas and animal welfare, consumer and environmental protection. Its primary research focuses on the on-going development of theories and methods of agricultural and life sciences.

The Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre – as an NGI Technology Centre – is in a transition phase. The research, support and education activities in the NBIC programmes BioRange, BioAssist and BioWise end or move at the end of this year (2013).

The bioinformatics research projects funded by NGI will end this year, which will lead to the finalisation of the BioRange programme December 31st, 2013. The programme has led to an impressive list of scientific publications, theses, tools and most of all: a new generation of well-trained bioinformaticians.

The Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA), School of Agriculture, is the largest and most qualified school of graduate and post-graduate degrees in the Agricultural Sciences, in Portugal, and its know-how is recognized nationally and internationally.

With over 160 years of experience, it has been adjusting its teaching to both the technological evolution and the reality of the country, focusing both on quality and modernization.

The Saturas stem water potential concept was developed from the field by Dr. Moshe Meron, a senior researcher at MIGAL Research Institute and a leading member of the Saturas team. MIGAL supports about 10,000 farmers in the north of Israel, who produce approximately 20% of the national agriculture production and is internationally recognized as a hub of agro-innovation. This strong position in the field contributes a lot to our understanding of the farmers’ real needs.

In order to reliably and meaningfully implement complex irrigation systems, extensive and intensive preliminary work as well as precise planning are required. The individual components must be precisely matched to the needs on site and to each other and be connected by different controls, fasteners and pipe networks.

L'Ifremer contribue, par ses travaux et expertises, à la connaissance des océans et de leurs ressources, à la surveillance du milieu marin et du littoral et au développement durable des activités maritimes. À ces fins, il conçoit et met en œuvre des outils d'observation, d'expérimentation et de surveillance, et gère des bases de données océanographiques.

Depuis le 1er janvier 2018, l’Ifremer opère également la flotte océanographique française au bénéfice de la communauté scientifique.

KNMI advises on and warns society to reduce risks in the field of weather, climate and seismology and to limit damage and injuries. With high-quality knowledge and technology plus an extensive observation network, KNMI offers products and services that contribute to the safety, accessibility, sustainability and prosperity of the Netherlands.

As a scientific institute KNMI participates in the international research community and contributes, for example, to the process and reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
